They are leaders of Work Package 8: Production Validation and Sustainability Appraisal, and are key contributors to Work Package 4: Gene Discovery and Protein Engineering, and Work Package 7: Cell Factory Construction. 

The Principal Investigator for DSM in the ShikiFactory100 project is Dr Hans Roubos, he is also the project's Exploitation Manager.
